Mandatory testing and orientation for the GED classes

Start your little ones on their literacy journey to becoming a lifelong reader. Bring your infants and toddlers in to enjoy stories, rhymes and songs with our children's librarian. Older siblings are always welcome. 

Common Grounds Book Club is a monthly reading club that meets to read and discuss books dealing with a wide variety of social justice issues.  We read both fiction and nonfiction.  Join us this month as we discuss My Dear Hamilton

Tweens and teens: meet us in the auditorium after school for VIDEO GAME CLUB! We'll have all kinds of consoles and games to play. Feel free to bring your own devices or consoles, too!

Get 2 hours of uninterrupted computer time to: write a cover letter or resume, search and apply for job postings, or get one-on-one assistance on job-related tasks.

Learn tips and tricks for survival in the wild! Discover how to survive a bear attack, how to keep warm in the cold, and what to do if you lose your way in the woods!

Children ages 18 and under are invited to join us for a free after-school snack Monday through Friday in the Craft Room at the West Wyandotte Library courtesy of USD 500 Nutritional Services.

Come join us and create your very own lava lamp....Spooky Lava Lamp! 

Kids and teens are invited to join us for a free delicious, nutritious after school snack every week day from 4:00-4:45 pm on days that school is in session.  Held in the Youth Services craft room.

Whether you're a fan of shojo or shonen, magical girls or giant robots, we're here to provide your anime fix.

Make a Fall-themed garland using paper and felt materials. Welcome the Fall season into your home  with marigolds, mushrooms, pumpkins, leaves--whatever inspires you!

Come have fun with our huge tub of Legos! Kids and teens ages 18 & under can build a little on one super Lego project each week or create a new project each time they attend.

For the month of October, Wednesday Night Crafts will be making spooky crafts!  We will be making Spider Web Art on October 16.

The South Library and Catholic Charities are working together to provide a FREE Citizenship Preparation Program at the South Library.
