Day Calendar

This program includes short stories, songs, fingerplays, movement activities, and free play to reinforce early language learning. Ages 18 to 36 months and a caregiver.

All kids up to 18 years old are invited to join us for delicious, free afterschool snacks every Monday -Friday on days when school is in session. 

Did you ever have a cool idea for a library program? Did you ever want to make your voice heard? Join us for our Teen Advisory Group. We will casually brainstorm on program ideas and discuss new and popular young adult book titles.

Join us for Kid's Cafe!  Children under 18 are welcome to have an after school snack provided by USD 500.

Make a fun fishing hole for polar bears!  We'll use tissue boxes & paper to make a silly display.

As part of our Harlem Renaissance series, the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art will be presenting on Topeka-born Harlem Renaissance artists Aaron Douglas and African-American Art.  A craft will follow. 

Introductory Meeting
