Mr. & Mrs. F.L. Schlagle will be closed on Wednesday, November 27th. All other Library branches will close on Wednesday, November 27th, at 5 p.m. for the Thanksgiving Holiday and will reopen on Saturday, November 30th.

In the last 40 years, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) have become embedded in American business, education, community, and social culture as a way to enable different individuals to feel a sense of belonging. However, that’s changed with DEI programs and staff being dismantled. In this session, Lewis Diuguid, a well-known columnist and former editor of the KC Star, will examine why this trend is growing and what’s being lost in this downward spiral.
