Take-Home Beaded Butterfly Kit @ West Wyandotte Library

Come by the West Wyandotte Library and pick up this month’s take-home craft: a Beaded Butterfly kit! Make a pretty butterfly out of pipe cleaners, clothespins, beads, and jewels.

Put beads on the two long pipe cleaners, leaving space at the ends. Twist the ends together so you have two circles. Twist each circle in the middle to make the wings. Open the clothespin and put the wings in the middle. Curl the short pipe cleaner and add to the clothespin for the antennae. Glue the jewels onto the clothespin for the butterfly body.

Ages 5-12. Don’t forget that beads and jewels can be a choking hazard, so parental supervision is advised!
