Program Description

Event Details

Come create your own, custom Perler bead masterpiece! Choose from a variety of small designs or create your own, and arrange the various colorful plastic beads on a pegboard. You will then use an iron and wax paper to melt the beads together. Perler bead art can be made into keychains.

Teens and tweens 11 and up are invited to the following programs afterschool on Mondays and Wednesdays:

  • September 13 - 3PM: Shrinky Dink Art

  • September 25 - 6pm: Koi Fish Pond Painting*

  • September 27 - 3PM: Perler Bead Art

  • October 11 - 3PM: Zombie Barbies

  • October 25 - 3PM: Halloween Waffles

  • November 20 - 6pm: Blacklight Painting*

  • December 6 - 3pm: Holiday Cones

  • December 20 - 3PM: Tie-Dye Tote Bags

*Registration required, register at South Branch Library by calling 913-295-8250 ext. 3
