Event Details
Learn about the habitat that truly represents Kansas. Then, spend some time wading through our prairie gardens, hearing stories about our native plants, and harvesting flower seeds for our Seed Library. The whole family is welcome to share this unique experience, but we ask that all children are supervised. We don't want to lose anybody in the prairie grasses! :) ALL family members attending must register for this event to keep an accurate number of attendees.
We suggest you wear long pants and bring a long-sleeve shirt to keep from getting scratched by grasses and leaves. You may also want to bring insect repellent and gloves. We will have some garden gloves for you to borrow if you need them.
