Exploring the Nooks and Crannies of Kansas

Co-authors Marci Penner and WenDee Rowe will take you on a photo journey of about 40 interesting and lesser-known places to visit in Kansas.  They traveled to every one of the 626 incorporated cities in Kansas to research for Kansas Guidebook 2 for Explorers—and they have stories to tell.  They’ll share intriguing historic places, quirky customs, grassroots art, fabulous cafes and much more. 

Marci Penner is the executive director of the Inman-based Kansas Sampler Foundation, and is an author, speaker, promoter and supporter of rural Kansas.  Marci and her dad founded the Inman-based non-profit in 1993. 
WenDee joined the organization in 2006 as assistant director in charge of technology and social media.

A book signing will follow the presentation.
