For the month of February, we will be showing movies from the 2010s that didn't get as much attention as they might have deserved. These include a small indie gem, a South American film, a Herculean effort in animation, and a less talked about work from a big name director.
On this night, we are watching Richard Linklater's 2011 film "Bernie" starring Jack Black, Shirley MacLaine, and Matthew McConaughey. It is rated PG-13.
In small-town Texas, an affable mortician strikes up a friendship with a wealthy widow, though when she starts to become controlling, he goes to great lengths to separate himself from her grasp.
