For the month of December, we will be showing movies scheduled for earlier in the year that were never screened due to inclement weather.
On this night, we are watching Ciro Guerra's 2015 film "Embrace of the Serpent" starring Nilbio Torres, Antonio Bolivar, and Jan Bijvoet.
The story of the relationship between Karamakate, an Amazonian shaman and last survivor of his people, and two scientists who work together over the course of forty years to search the Amazon for a sacred healing plant.
