Event Details
During the month of August, we will be showing movies directed by John Frankenheimer. Frankenheimer got his start in the early days of television before moving to feature films in the late 1950s. In the 60s, he rattled off a string of daring thrillers boasting some of the best cinematography of the time.
On this night, we are watching John's 1964 film "The Train" starring Burt Lancaster, Paul Scofield, and Jeanne Moreau.
In 1944, a German colonel loads a train with French art treasures to send to Germany. The Resistance must stop it without damaging the cargo.
