For the month of May, we will be showing movies starring Humphrey Bogart. Bogart had a movie career that spanned 4 decades, but he didn't become a screen icon until his 40s. By the end of the century, the American Film Institute ranked him as the greatest male star of classic American cinema.
On this night, we are watching Bogie in Michael Curtiz's 1942 film "Casablanca" also starring Ingrid Bergman and Claude Rains. It is rated PG.
A cynical expatriate American cafe owner struggles to decide whether or not to help his former lover and her fugitive husband escape the Nazis in French Morocco.
