Program Description
Event Details
For the month of June, we are showing documentaries. Sometimes the truth can be just as entertaining or meaningful to us as fiction. If you are interested in music, true crime, or filmmaking, then these are docs you should see.
On this night, we are watching Kent Jones' 2015 doc "Hitchcock/Truffaut" all about the week long conversation between directors Alfred Hitchcock and Francois Truffaut combing through Hitchcock's career up to that point. The resulting book would put respect on Hitchcock's name. The doc features interviews with filmmakers such as Wes Anderson, David Fincher, Richard Linklater, Kiyoshi Kurosawa, and Peter Bogdanovich. It is rated PG-13.
