Join us for Homeschool Monday: African Music, presented by Kansas City Young Audiences! The drumming and dance traditions of the Senegambia region of Africa is one of the most exciting and dynamic musical traditions in the world today. Teaching artist Bird Fleming, Director of the Traditional Music Society, illustrates the history and construction of African musical instruments as he invites the participants to play along in this hands-on program. Only 25 seats are available to students 3rd grade and up. Please register to hold your space!
