Girls Who Code Club Information Session

Parents and guardians of girls in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades: join us for an informational session on our brand new Girls Who Code Club! Starting in January 2019, the West Wyandotte Girls Who Code Club will be a community of 10 girls who actively design, code, read and explore together​. Facilitated by the library, our bi-weekly Girls Who Code Club meetings will feature activities, characters, and vocabulary drawn from the best-selling Girls Who Code books that teach girls to code their own computer programs. Our 3rd-5th grade club is designed to encourage girls to become brave and resilient, and to expose girls to computational thinking at the exact moment when research indicates that their interest is high. Come learn about this amazing, nationwide coding initiative for 3rd through 5th grade girls!
