Digestible Classics dives into the best books that are short enough for a busy schedule. Everyone is welcome, no matter your experience with classic literature. If you're new to it, this is a great place to start. This month we'll be reading Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Neale Hurston.
You can attend in-person at the library or join through Zoom. The Zoom link will be sent out the day of.
Fair and long-legged, independent and articulate, Janie Crawford sets out to be her own person -- no mean feat for a black woman in the '30s. Janie's quest for identity takes her through three marriages and into a journey back to her roots.
