Introduction to Fermenting Vegetables

For over 3,000 years, humans have been fermenting vegetables to preserve and enhance the harvest. Learn about the history, equipment, methods, and benefits of vegetable fermentation.

Tom Ruggieri and Rebecca Graff co-own Fair Share Farm, a diversified vegetable operation and fermentation kitchen in northeast Clay County, MO. The farm is in its 20th year and focuses on building life in the soil, increasing biodiversity, reversing climate change, and producing nutritious food. Prior to farming Mr. Ruggieri worked as an environmental engineer for 20 years.

Registrants will be emailed a Zoom link.
