Teens and Tweens: We Challenge you to make a blizzard of creative snowflakes! We have enclosed some intricate snowflake patterns to try on a cold winter day.

Animals have adaptations to help them survive the cold winter months every year.

Swing by the library any time this month to pick up this kit to make an easy craft stick snowman to hang on your refrigerator during the winter.  Call us when you get here and we'll bring the kit out to your car.  913-295-8250, option #2

You can re-tell the classic story of "The Mitten" with your own mitten and woodland characters illustrated by Jan Brett.

Create your own indoor snowflake! You don’t have to be outside in the cold to enjoy the beauty of winter.  Available for curbside pickup starting January 4. For children, ages 3-12.  

Much like the iris of a camera, iris folded cards create special keepsakes with a unique piece of art. Decorate your cards and hand them out to family and friends!
