Program Description
Event Details
Project FeederWatch is a winter-long survey of birds that visit feeders at backyards, nature centers, community areas, and other locations in North America. The data helps scientists track migrations of winter bird populations and long-term trends in bird distribution and abundance.
Any one can attend this event in one to two-hour increments and count the birds that visit the library feeders. You will track your counts on data sheets that will be sent to Cornell University. Binoculars and field guides will be available for use.
