Event Details

Join us for a day of making natural treats for birds and other wildlife!  We will start the day with a storytime of "The Night Tree" by Eve Bunting, a story about how a young boy and his family decorate their favorite tree every year with popcorn, fruit, and sunflower-seed balls as a gift for the animals of the woods.  Following our storytime, we will have all the supplies you'll need to make numerous types of treats.  You will leave some here to decorate our large cedar tree outside the library and take some treats home for your own tree at home.

If you cannot make the storytime, no worries!  We will have all the materials set-up for you to make your animal treats until 2:00 pm.
