Celebrate the legacy of artist and activist Gordon Parks in this presentation and film screening event! Learning from Gordon Parks is a presentation by photographer Ann Dean, of Humanities Kansas. A Choice of Weapons: Inspired by Gordon Parks  is a film that explores the power of images in advancing racial, economic, and social equality as seen through the lens of Gordon Parks, one of America's most trailblazing artists, and the generation of young photographers, filmmakers, and activists he inspired. The film is provided by Kunhardt Films, specializing in documentaries about the people and ideas that shape American history.

Registration is not required to attend this event.
