Program Description

Event Details

Participants will learn about “The Day of the Dead”, a Latin American holiday celebrating the lives of those we have lost. They will create a sugar skull painting that represents themselves or their background. In Latin American tradition, a sugar skull is an offering placed on an altar created for loved ones who have passed away. This teaches participants to celebrate their own lives and the lives of those who are gone. This program is available in both English and Spanish.
