Yes, Your Brain May Improve with Age!

One of our biggest fears as we age is that we will lose our intellectual functioning. However, research in the past decade has brought about a remarkable paradigm shift from aging as a problem to aging as a time of promise and potential. This month's presentation will focus on just some of the gifts your aging brain has for you. Learn the psychology behind increased creativity, greater emotional control, wisdom and happiness which may be naturally yours with advancing years.

Sandra Lyke, MA, LCSW and psychiatric social worker will discuss her work motivating older adults to take full advantage of rewards and capacities which were unavailable to them at a younger age. Hopefully, we will be encouraged to join the paradigm shift in thinking about our brains as we age.
