Program Description
Event Details
The theme for Black History Month 2024 focuses on “African Americans and the Arts.” Join us in creating art with the Urban Bucket Brigade! Jaisson Taylor brings this interactive and fun drumming workshop from the streets to your children. Using recycled buckets and a rhythm, youth will learn about the role of music in various cultures and how those cultures lead to what you hear in the music of the streets today. Registration required. Children under the age of 8 will need a parent or guardian to accompany them.
