October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month. 1 in 3 women and 1 in 7 men in America experience some form of physical violence from an intimate partner in their lifetime. Domestic violence is also the 1 cause of injury for women ages 15-24. 

“Dynamics of Domestic Violence: Know it. Name it. Stop it.”  defines domestic violence and its underlying forces, identifies various types of abuse and uncovers the most common tactics used by abusers to gain power and control over their victims.

Join Carlen Davis, Community Outreach Educator from Friends of Yates, Inc. to learn how  to identify relationship red flags, the importance of consent and setting boundaries that promote the development of healthy relationships.

This program is conducted on Zoom. Registration is required to receive the link via email.
