Event Details

During the month of August, we will be showing movies directed by John Frankenheimer.  Frankenheimer got his start in the early days of television before moving to feature films in the late 1950s.  In the 60s, he rattled off a string of daring thrillers boasting some of the best cinematography of the time.

On this night, we are watching John's 1964 film "Seven Days in May" starring Burt Lancaster, Kirk Douglas, Frederic March, and Ava Gardner.

United States military leaders plot to overthrow the President because he supports a nuclear disarmament treaty and they fear a Soviet sneak attack.
