Event Details

During the month of August, we will be showing movies directed by John Frankenheimer.  Frankenheimer got his start in the early days of television before moving to feature films in the late 1950s.  In the 60s, he rattled off a string of daring thrillers boasting some of the best cinematography of the time.

On this night, we are watching John's 1962 film "The Manchurian Candidate" starring Frank Sinatra, Laurence Harvey, and Janet Leigh.  It is rated PG-13.

An American POW in the Korean War is brainwashed as an unwitting assassin for an international Communist conspiracy.
