Program Description
Event Details
Tracey Singer is an artist based in Chicago who draws inspiration from her experiences as a medical student amazed by the profound transformative connection between the human body and its environment, of ability and disability. Her artworks explore the both the healing power and destructive nature of our surroundings. Singer's fusion pieces symbolize the dynamic tumult of life. The pieces suggest that by exploring our connection with our environment and recognizing our place within it, we can find resilience. Her works are a contemplative journey into a delicate dichotomy of nature’s ability to nurture and its unforgiving ability to seize.
Her artwork will be on display at Mr. & Mrs. F. L. Schlagle Library through the end of December.
