Thanksgiving Holiday
Mr. & Mrs. F.L. Schlagle will be closed on Wednesday, November 27th. All other Library branches will close on Wednesday, November 27th, at 5 p.m. for the Thanksgiving Holiday and will reopen on Saturday, November 30th.
Older preschoolers will enjoy this longer 6 by 6: Ready to Read program. Stories, songs, movement activities, and free play encourage pre-reading skills. Ages 3-5 and a caregiver.
It is story time at the Main Branch! Start your little ones on their literacy journey and bring your infants and toddlers in to enjoy stories, rhymes and songs with our children's librarian. Older siblings are always welcome.
First Wednesdays: Listen to the newest beats, Be your own DJ, and create sweet jams.
Second Wednesdays: Create and explore various art, craft, science and food projects.
Get 2 hours of uninterrupted computer time to: write a cover letter or resume, search & apply for job postings, or get one-on-one assistance on job-related tasks.
Join us at 2 p.m. every Wednesday this school year for something fun just for teens!

Join us for Kid's Cafe! Children under 18 are welcome to have an after school snack provided by USD 500.
All kids up to 18 years old are invited to join us for delicious, free afterschool snacks every Monday -Friday on days when school is in session.

Kids and teens can come build with Legos and have a small snack afterwards! Save creations to work on a little each week or dream up something new! We also have Lego manuals to give ideas and inspiration. Ages 18 and under.
