Artist Statement:
“Somewhere In Between” consists of two forms of personal, psychological experiences. My subconscious ideas lead me to create spaces that I want to visit but am never able to because of their non-existence in this world. My hyper-consciousness of a once familiar setting pushes me to recognize its unfamiliar part, which slowly becomes strange and even alienating. The dream-like quality and the realistic portrayal weave this experimental narrative. The dynamics is constantly floating between the absent acknowledgment and the strong indication of time and space.
