Join us for a virtual forum with Paula Darling, Certified Master Gardener. She will discuss research-based information regarding how gardening is physically, mentally and spiritually beneficial. This is particularly true during challenging and stressful times, such as the restrictions we face that are a result of COVID-19 or at a time of personal and family illness or stress.
Following her retirement from teaching, Paula became a Leavenworth County Master Gardener in 2015 and also continues to work part-time. She understands firsthand the stresses and challenges of fighting cancer and has experienced the benefits of gardening in coping with these and other challenges.
Paula's cousin Warner Schler has been an important, supportive partner in her gardening, and he will also be present at our May 26 forum.

A Note to Extension Master Gardeners: Ask your Horticulture Agent if Advanced Training Credit is approved.
