For the month of July, we will be showing movies starring Walter Matthau. Matthau was a star of the stage and screen for over 4 decades and won an Oscar, 2 Tonys, and a Golden Globe during that span. He specialized in playing curmudgeonly slobs that often played off of a contrasting character.
On this night, we are watching Walter in Michael Ritchie's 1976 film "The Bad News Bears" also starring Tatum O'Neal. It is rated PG.
An aging, down-on-his-luck ex-minor leaguer coaches a team of misfits in an ultra-competitive California little league.
