For the month of January, we will be showing movies poking fun at tyrannical leaders and politics in general.
On this night, we are watching Hal Ashby's 1979 film "Being There" starring Peter Sellers, Shirley MacLaine, and Melvyn Douglas. It is rated PG.
After the death of his employer forces him out of the only home he's ever known, a simpleminded, sheltered gardener becomes an unlikely trusted advisor to a powerful tycoon and an insider in Washington politics.
