For the month of September, we will be showing movies about lovers on the run from the law. Usually based on real life events, these toxic duos have done something terrible and yet we sometimes find ourselves rooting for them to get away with it.
On this night, we are watching Sam Peckinpah's 1972 film "The Getaway" starring Steve McQueen and Ali MacGraw. It is rated PG.
A recently-released ex-con and his loyal wife go on the run after a heist goes awry.
