For the month of October, we are showing horror movies made by Hammer Films. The British studio made a name for themselves by updating the Universal monster movies of the 1930s. They launched the careers of actors such as Christopher Lee, Peter Cushing, Oliver Reed, and Donald Sutherland.
We will be watching Seth Holt's 1961 film "Scream of Fear" starring Susan Strasberg, Ann Todd, and Ronald Lewis.
A wheelchair-bound young woman returns to her father's estate after ten years, and although she's told he's away, she keeps seeing his dead body on the estate.
