Join us as we venture into the fossil history of Kansas! Did you know that the land that is now Kansas used to be a shallow, inland ocean? We had all types of ocean creatures here, many of which are now extinct. We will examine real fossils (found in Kansas) that these animals left behind, and learn a little bit about them. We will also make replica fossils out of plaster of paris for the kids to take home!
