Program Description

Event Details

Join Jo and West Wyandotte Library as we learn more about America's early history. Jo's storytelling is the perfect mix of historical facts with role playing for all ages and endless humor. This Saving, Baking, and Celebrating with the Settlers program includes the following:

-Saving the Liberty Bell - true story of John Jacob Mickley and his father saving the bell from the British. Some siblings have been added for fun.

-Independence Cake - true story of the orphan Amelia Simmons, author of America's first Cookbook! 

-Celebrating the 1st Thanksgiving.

Registration is Preferred.
