Program Description

Event Details

Classical Chinese Medicine achieves health by balancing energies in the body. Classical Chinese Medicine is a comprehensive system based on thousands of years of cross-cultural knowledge of the human body and mind. Acupuncture restores homeostasis in our bodies. It is accepted around the globe as a safe, effective and holistic complement or alternative to contemporary western medicine.  Learn about ways to stay on track with your health goals and how Chinese Medicine may benefit you.

To conclude this series on Chinese Medicine, we will introduce methods to work with the energy, or qi (“chee”), in your own body through gentle movements and visualization. The energetic system and its pathways (or meridians) in the body are foundational principles of Chinese Medicine. When the pathways are open, we feel nourished and balanced, and then our over-stimulated nervous systems can be at ease. You may participate while sitting or standing, and the exercises are accessible to all levels of fitness abilities. Join us for this interactive session and discover how to use mindful breathing and movement to increase energy, improve concentration, and ease pain and stress.
