Join us at the Mr. & Mrs. F.L. Schlagle Library on September 21st from 10 am to 3 pm for the 19th Annual Lawson Roberts Butterfly Festival! This event is free and open to the public.
Grab a net and hunt for butterflies, help tag Monarch butterflies as we send them off on their journey to Mexico, or challenge yourself to our Monarch Migration game! We will have a butterfly storytime, face painting, a butterfly walk and scavenger hunt, crafts, a station to make "seed bombs", a butterfly release tent, and lots of resources for native gardens and gardening for pollinators! During the event, we will announce the winners of our annual bug photography contest.
