Join the Mr. and Mrs. F.L. Schlagle Library for a storytime all about whales and other large marine mammals! After we read our story, we will go outside to get an idea of just how much space a blue whale takes up in the ocean. 

We will read a few beautifully-illustrated children's books and then use them as examples of how you can create beautiful blended skies and landscapes with colored pencils. Pencils will be provided to use.

Families are invited to join us for fun, ocean-themed storytimes every Friday at 10 am. This interactive storytime will include singing, dancing, and some great books that explore different ocean themes!

Please join West Wyandotte Branch for the movie, Shark Tale. If there is inclement weather, the movie event will be moved inside to the auditorium.

Are you interested in or in need of teen volunteer service hours? The Teen Volunteer Orientation is open to high school students in grades 9 -12. This orientation will introduce teens to the library and various volunteer tasks.

Are you a reader in grades 1 – 5? Come join The Friendly Readers Book Club! This Virtual Book Club is just for kids and is a safe space to read together and talk about the books we love. We meet on Wednesdays at 5:00pm via Zoom.

Teens in grades 9-12 are invited to volunteer at the library. Volunteer orientations are required before starting any additional volunteer work. Orientation includes a shelving test, a library tour, and an introduction to typical volunteer tasks.
