For the month of October, we will be showing movies about people being held captive. Jealous and obsessive captors make for compelling horror villains in these thrillers that will have you wondering how/will the captives will get out.
On this night, we are watching Rob Reiner's 1990 film "Misery" starring James Caan and Kathy Bates. It is rated R.
After a famous author is rescued from a car crash by a fan of his novels, he comes to realize that the care he is receiving is only the beginning of a nightmare of captivity and abuse.
