For the month of October, we will be showing movies about people being held captive. Jealous and obsessive captors make for compelling horror villains in these thrillers that will have you wondering how/will the captives will get out.
On this night, we are watching Takashi Miike's 1999 film "Audition" starring Ryo Ishibashi and Eihi Shiina. It is rated R.
A widower takes an offer to screen girls at a special audition, arranged for him by a friend to find him a new wife. The one he fancies is not who she appears to be after all.
